About the role…
Morrison Data Services are looking for Meter Readers to start work in the South West London area. Initially this role will be on a 3 month fixed term contract basis before moving to a self-employed (franchisee) contract where you will be paid by the number of meters you read.
As a Meter Reader you will be reading our clients water meters, completing visual safety checks and accurately recording readings onto a handheld terminal. You will be responsible for ensuring your work is planned and scheduled in the most efficient way to ensure that daily targets are met.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be dealing with customers frequently and therefore we want to ensure their experiences are positive and professional.

About you...

Although experience in meter reading is not essential, these are some of the factors we look for and that would be beneficial to you in this role:

  • Experience in Route Planning (i.e. Delivery Drivers/route planners)
  • Willingness to work hard and achieve results.
  •  Experience as a Meter Reader would be preferable, but not essential as full training, support and uniform will be provided
  • A Full UK Driving license (required)

What we offer...

  • Basic salary of £18,360
  • Flexible hours between 0800hrs – 2000hrs Mon-Fri, and 0800hrs – 1800 hrs on Saturday (optional).
  • Company Van

After a Fixed Term qualifying period of 3 months, there will be the opportunity to move onto a pay per read system which will increase your earning potential. Please note for this you will be required to supply your own vehicle (van) and will be paid by the number of reads you collect.
