About The Role

Job Purpose:

The analyst will report to the senior and will assist the Senior Analyst and Contract Manager in the reporting of KPI’s and objectives in line with contractual requirements, corporate strategy and vision, actively working towards continuous performance improvement. The analyst is responsible for providing accurate data on meter reading and sales investigation performance and assisting in the provision of daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Thames Water, Meter Reading and Sales Investigation contract. They are to assist with data collection on KPI’s, SLA’s and Internal and External targets and ensure that performance measures across the department are in place. Ability to travel between sites will be essential.

Principal Accountabilities / Objectives:

  • Assist with the production of all KPI and performance reports relating to the contract.
  • Assist with the provision of weekly and monthly statistical information relating to performance
  • Monitoring Franchisee, Direct Labour performance, logging and progressing any performance issues.
  • Ensuring that performance communications are in place and that teams fully understand the influence that their performance has on the contract
  • Provide data for monthly performance meetings with the operational staff and management
  • Help to develop our performance delivery policy, understanding and satisfying contractual requirements Assisting with the on-going review, management and implementation of performance processes
  • Identify and report any reoccurring issues or failures using the appropriate channels
  • Identify staff training requirements to meet current business needs
  • Support the senior management and field teams to deliver key business objectives
  • Monitor all performance failures highlighting areas of concern to managers where necessary
  • Provide weekly and monthly statistical information relating to contract performance in customer related areas.
  • To carry out any other duties as required, meeting the needs of the business

  • Deliver against contract KPI’s as required.

  • Production of management information

Competency:  Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:

  • A proven analyst with extensive experience and ability to demonstrate a track record of achieving challenging targets
  • An ability to ‘think outside the box’ but also able to ensure effective day to day delivery of services
  • An understanding of performance management delivery and innovation to improve contract output
  • The ability to develop positive working relationships and to be seen as a highly credible representative of the business
  • Must have experience of delivering within a customer focused environment
  • Must hold valid EC driving licence
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office applications essential with an excellent working knowledge of Excel.

Desirable:

  • Have experience working either within or with a local authority, Local Government, Government or a regulated industry.
  • An Understanding of Franchisee models and operations.
