About The Role

Morrison Electricity Transmission (MESET) is recruiting for a Graduate Design Engineer (GDE) to join our growing design team in the UK. This role will be working on sites across the UK. 

As a/the GDE you will be part of our Transmission Design Team who are responsible for all permanent and temporary works design support on contracts for NG, SSE, SPEN and the full range of UK DNOs.  

As the Graduate Design Engineer your responsibilities will include:

·       Develop an in-depth understanding of all aspects of HV transmission line design as quickly as possible.

·       To support projects by delivering high quality design outputs.

·       To develop an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of National Grid, SPEN, ENA and other relevant industry standards.

·       To follow MESTN design processes, policy, training manuals and procedures.

·       To support projects by delivering high quality design outputs.

·       The role will be site-based for the first 2 years for the purpose of training and development.

 

Skills & Knowledge Requirements 

  • B.Eng or BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering, with honours
