About The Role
 
A bit about the role… 

Morrison Data Services are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage and deliver all aspects of our field based work for Thames Water. This role is home based with requirements to work in our Swindon office when necessary. 

The role is focused on the safe delivery of over 2.5M water meter readings per year. You will report directly to our Head of Operations and manage a number of team leaders across different Thames Water geographical areas. 

The role will require advanced organisational and communication skills. You will be expected to represent the business in senior level management meetings, produce reports and statistics when required and look to innovate where possible. This is a role that you can develop, you have the flexibility to change and adapt as required.

You will ensure all contractual objectives are met, working together with our team of analysts  and back office you will ensure our KPI’s are achieved on time and to the desired quality whilst ensuring revenue and EBITDA targets are achieved. You will work to provide a safe place for all employees to work, through active monitoring and develop proactive plans to improve and drive performance. 

You’ll manage all aspects of operational and commercial delivery, overall contract performance and agreed company & customer process as well as ensuring compliance health & safety regulations. You’ll manage teams of director labour, agency and subcontractor resources, managing performance, engagement and driving customer service excellence.

What you’ll bring to the role… 
  • Contract Management qualification or demonstrable experience 
  • Experience in the Water Industry at a Management level is desirable 
  • People and time management , including excellent communication skills
