About The Role
 

We’ve recently had some contract wins, so we’re looking to expand and as we do we have a great opportunity to join our Newcastle head office team as a Regional Scheduling Manager. This role will be well suited to someone who is looking to develop their career in scheduling and planning management, this role will provide the perfect platform for you to gain hands-on experience during the exciting period of growth.

Reporting in to the Head of Operations, we’re creating a structure that ensures that our field and office teams operate as one, pulling together to maximise the efficiency of the field force and deliver for our customers. This role will also work closely with fellow Regional Scheduling Managers to share best practice and innovation to deliver the best national result.

A bit about you...


As our Regional Scheduling Manager you will lead a number of scheduling teams to ensure that our metering engineer workloads are maximised & balanced to guarantee that our customer expectations are met. You’ll be a great communicator & motivator focusing a can do attitude across the teams, especially during where the role can be challenging or time pressured at times. 

You’ll be a key team member within our Smart Metering business, maximising the commercial opportunities within each contract, ensuring standards are exceeded so we don’t incur contractual penalties. You’ll set and agree clear objectives within your team, paying close attention to the overall performance consistently. We look to our leaders to support their teams, so we’ll need you to help find solutions to scheduling issues in order to deliver an excellent standard of service to our clients and their customers every day.

What you will bring to the role...


•            Significant management experience, ideally in the Utilities/Metering Sector
•            Leadership skills including coaching & mentoring
•            Persuasive communication and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external 
•            The ability to identify business risks and design and implement mitigation plans
•            Skilled in supporting colleagues through significant change
•            Strong commercial awareness
•            High numerical and analytical ability
•            Computer literate
