About The Role

A bit about the role…

As an experienced HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive and professional HR advice and support to managers. This will include coaching and supporting in areas such as performance and absence, identifying trends to encourage more proactive approaches to employee relations and robust advise with regards to disciplinary and grievance cases.

You will work as a regional advisor within our national teams and report into Emma, Senior HR Business Partner. As a HR Advisor at Morrison Data Services, a key part of the role is developing rapport and strong relationships to ensure that you are a key stakeholder when it comes to all people matters.

Working closely with field based People Managers, ensuring company policies, procedures, collective agreements and best practice are followed. You will be proactive in looking for ways to improve the business, demonstrating a professional and commercial approach to HR.

This role will require some ad-hoc travel to support the teams in your region.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Adopt a coaching and mentoring approach to develop managers confidence and competence to manage HR cases and make good people decisions
  • Support and advise managers on full case management from beginning to end on a range of HR matters including disciplinary, grievances, absence management and capability/performance management.
  • Support the HRBP and team in collating key HR data and analysis of relevant HR KPI's
  • Be a change leader, and support our management team to deliver key messages, lead change across their area and support any change management plans
  • Support with development plans and working with the team to develop coaching plans
  • Managing TUPE processes as and when required, including consultation with incoming and outgoing Employers, Employees and Trade Unions; ensuring that best practice and all legal obligations are met
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives 
What you'll bring to the role 
  • Experience as an HR professional using an effective coaching and challenging approach, confident in dealing with HR issues remotely
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a thorough and comprehensive understanding of current and forthcoming HR legislation
  • A self-starter, who is able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation, but also work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Resilience and ability to work in a busy, commercial environment
  • Full UK Driving License
