A bit about the role... 
 
Reporting to the Head of Planning and Performance, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Oracle Full Stack Developer to join our team in Newcastle on a 6 month FT Contract. You will be responsible for designing and developing Morrison Data Services Performance Systems software as well as reporting and resolving suspected non-compliance software issues.

Key role responsibilities...
  • Support, maintain and replace the current application estate
  • Design, develop and implement new system solutions.
  • Write high-quality code using the latest engineering tools and best practices according to company standards.
  • Maintain source control according to company standards.
  • Ability to investigate problems and provide solutions.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders throughout the design and build stages.
What you'll bring to the role... 
 
Essential: 
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge Database modelling / design OLTP & OLAP
  • Experience with developing and maintaining applications in Oracle Apex (Required)
Desirable: 
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be a team player.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Have good attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines.
  • A professional, motivated individual with a strong sense of pride taken in their work. You will need to have very good verbal and communication skills and be able to articulate solutions, with a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be interested in technology and keep up to date with new and emerging techniques and tools.
